Develop a pamphlet for pregnant patients explaining two of the complementary and alternative methods to relieve pain during the process of labor and birth. Support the information by at least two current (published within the past 5 years) scholarly research studies.
2 .
Develop a card that can be laminated that describes how the patient self-administers nitrous oxide. Include a drawing of proper placement over the patient’s nose and mouth.
3 .
Develop a patient education pamphlet on the purpose, insertion, side effects, and monitoring related to an epidural for pain relief during the process of labor and birth. Include drawings or pictures of the positions for insertion and the epidural space.
