Nurses should strive to provide personalized care that considers the patient’s specific circumstances. This involves tailoring interventions, treatment plans, and education to meet the patient’s individual needs, cultural background, and beliefs.

Patient: Thank you. That’s helpful, but I also know I need to quit smoking. I’ve tried a few times, but it has been really difficult.
