  1. Here is a rule to make a list of numbers: Each number is the sum of the previous two numbers. Start with the numbers 0 and 1, and then follow the rule to build a sequence of 10 numbers.

    Enter the 10th number in the sequence.
  1. A sequence of numbers follows the rule: Multiply the previous number by –2 and add 3. The 4th term in the sequence is –7.

    1. Give the 8th term in the sequence.
    1. Give the term that came before –7 in the sequence.
  1. Find the 4th term if the first term is 2 and each term is 3 more than the previous number
  1. Find the 8th term of the sequence: 4, 7, 12, 19, 28, . . .
  1. Find the 8th term of the sequence: –8, –6, –3, 1, 6, . . .
  1. Find the next term in the sequence: –3, 6, –12, 24, . . .
  1. Starting with 2, each number is three times the previous number.

    What is the 4th term in the sequence?
